CrushOn.AI review: plans, credits and the free tier

We opened CrushOn from a US connection, read the pricing page, terms, privacy policy, community guidelines and the official wiki FAQ, and tried the free email sign-up. CrushOn sends a login code by email, and it refused our disposable address with "Temporary email addresses are not supported". We did not continue with a personal Google or Discord account.

As a guest we could browse the catalog and open a character, but pressing Enter on the first message brought up the login prompt. So chat speed, memory, the in-app paywall, settings and account deletion are untested here. Everything about limits below comes from CrushOn's own pricing page and FAQ. No payment was made.

CrushOn is a character-chat site run by TECHIEPIE LTD, a company with a Cyprus address. Most characters are made by users, and the catalog is huge. You pick a character, pick a model, and chat. There is a creator economy on top: you can tip creators with Diamonds and unlock their paid images or videos.

The catalog has an "Unfiltered" switch. When we visited as a logged-out US visitor it was already on, and the top of the list was full of explicit titles. Turning it off leaves a tamer catalog with fewer tags. Characters marked SFW block sensitive content even in an adult chat.

The plans are built around message credits. Every plan, including Free, gives unlimited chat on CrushOn's Free Models. Credits pay for Pro and Ultra models, and the monthly allowance grows from 100 on Free to 125,000 on Imperial. Premium was on offer at $14.99 instead of $19.99 when we checked, and the annual tab was advertising up to 47% off.

If you mostly want a better model rather than more of everything, look at the Pro Models Chat Package: $39.99 a month on top of a membership, for unlimited Pro Model replies without spending credits. It is sold as a one-time purchase and the FAQ says it can't be refunded once active. Top-up credit packs are in the Store, which needs a login, so we could not see their prices.

More than most rivals, on paper: unlimited chat on Free Models, 100 credits a month for Pro models, 8K memory and 200 stored messages per character. The catch is housekeeping. Free chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity, maximum reply length is 225, the lowest of any plan, and responses "may be slower during Peak Time". You need an account to send even one message.

You pay by card on the site, or through other processors the FAQ names, such as SubscribeStar and Paymentwall. CrushOn does not say what name appears on your card statement. Plans renew automatically. You cancel from Profile, My Subscription, Manage; access lasts to the end of the period, and the terms rule out partial refunds for unused time.

The privacy policy says chat content may be used to train AI models, and it gives no fixed retention period. To delete your account, the FAQ points to Profile, Settings, Delete Account, and warns that an active subscription can block it. Cancel first.

The terms and FAQ still mention App Store and Google Play versions, but the site's own install dialog says there is no iPhone download, and we found no CrushOn app in either US store. Android users get a direct APK.

Pick it if you want a big community catalog, like choosing your model, and would use the free tier for real chatting before paying. The $5.99 Standard plan adds group chat and bigger memory models.

Skip it if you want one flat price without credits and add-ons, need an App Store app, or would rather your chats were not used for model training. Also skip it if you only sign up with throwaway email addresses: CrushOn blocks them.
