What we checked on 23 October 2026
We read the US Google Play listing, opened linke.ai without signing in, read the terms and privacy policy on Linky's help site, and searched the US App Store. We did not install the app or create an account. Linky isn't an 18+ service and isn't on our recommended list, so this page covers only what is public. Chat, voice, memory and coin prices were not tested, and no payment was made.
What Linky AI is
Linky AI is a character chat app from Skywork AI Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, with more than 10 million Android downloads and 138,000 reviews averaging 3.9. You chat or call community-made characters, build your own in 2D, Live2D, pixel or 3D styles, and collect character cards. The free app shows ads.
The web page at linke.ai shows eight public characters and points you to the Android app. We found no Linky app on the US App Store, although the terms describe Apple billing.
What it costs
Linky doesn't publish its Pro price. The terms say you see it at purchase, and Pro renews monthly, quarterly or yearly until you cancel in Google Play or the App Store. Pro adds 30 free coins a day, more card draws, priority in the avatar queue and more character slots. Google Play lists in-app purchases from $0.49 to $269.99 per item.
Refunds go through the store; Linky says it takes no liability for them. Coins left in your account when it closes are not paid out.
Adult content and age rules
Linky isn't an adult chat app. Its terms ban content that is "obscene, offensive, pornographic" or "pedophilic", and anything "harming minors in any way". It is also open to 17-year-olds, and to younger users with a parent's consent; only paid and social features need you to be 18.
Linky says it does not pre-screen user content. On the day we checked, the eight public characters on its home page included one built on a real wrestler and one introduced as a little girl, which tells you the catalog is not curated for adults.
Billing and privacy
Payments run through the app store, so your statement shows the store charge. The store listing says conversations are "never shared", while the privacy policy allows sharing behavioural and profiling data with advertising partners and uses Google Analytics and AppsFlyer. The app may also ask for your contacts to suggest friends, and the terms reserve the right to access chat data to screen for banned content automatically.
Data is kept as long as Linky's business needs require. To delete your account you email [email protected]; the policy describes no in-app button.
Who might use it, and who should look elsewhere
It suits you if you want free, ad-supported roleplay with anime and game characters on Android, with voice calls and a large community catalog.
If you came here for adult chat, Linky is the wrong app by its own rules. The three services below are for users 18 and over; SpicyChat and Janitor AI also allow adult roleplay, while Xoul keeps to romance without explicit content.
