Muah AI does not publish prices on its public pages. The official guide says VIP and higher media or model tiers are compared in the chatroom under Purchase VIP, with monthly and yearly options, and that a yearly plan may show a monthly equivalent next to the annual total. We did not open the purchase screen, so plan prices are not published here. Subscriptions can be cancelled in settings, by email or with the payment provider.

What Muah AI is
Muah AI is an AI girlfriend and companion service in the browser. The site footer says it is California based, and the legal pages name the operator only as MUAH.AI, with contact by email. You pick a preset companion, browse community characters or build your own, then talk by text, voice, photos, video and live calls; the chatroom menu also has a music generator.
What it costs
Prices are not on the public website. The official guide says VIP and higher tiers are compared inside the chatroom, with monthly and yearly choices, and it warns that a yearly plan may display a monthly equivalent next to the actual annual charge. We did not open the purchase screen, so check the total before paying.
Free demo and free account
The Play Demo button opens the chatroom without an account, with a picker of preset companions such as Lulu, Ashley and Peach. A free account has separate limits on messages, photo generation, photo viewing and calls, plus an XP system where some actions cost levels. Sign-in works with Google, email, phone, Discord, Apple or Microsoft.
Photos, voice and calls
Two fields shape a character: the Core Prompt sets personality and conversation, and Look-Like describes the appearance used for generated photos. Changing one does not update the other. Voice, photo style and live calls each have their own settings and plan requirements, so the guide suggests checking the exact feature you want before you upgrade.
Rules, billing and privacy
The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy both carry an effective date of May 17, 2022. You must be 18 or older, and the privacy policy says accounts proven to be under 18 are suspended. The terms make users responsible for content generated from their prompts and list general prohibited activities; they do not contain a separate clause on sexual content involving minors or on real people's likeness. Content that may be illegal can be reported through a complaints process.
Subscriptions are not refundable as a rule and can be cancelled at any time; support may grant a one-time exception refund. In September 2024 Muah.AI had a data breach: according to Have I Been Pwned, 1.9 million email addresses were exposed together with prompts used to generate images, and the record is flagged as sensitive.
Who should pick it
Pick Muah AI if you want one companion with many ways to interact, including calls and photos, and like to test a demo before signing up. Look elsewhere if you want public prices before you register or a refund policy that does not depend on support's discretion.
