My Dream Companion review: per-day prices and a step-family catalog

We opened Dream Companion from a US connection, confirmed we were over 18 on the entry screen and looked around without an account: the catalog, the subscription page and the legal pages. We did not create a free account, because the service permits step-family themes and is on our not-recommended list.

Nothing below comes from a signed-in session. The free limit and refund rules are quoted from the terms, and prices from the subscription page that day.

My Dream Companion, branded on the site as Dream Companion, is run by Miracle AI UG in Berlin and calls itself "an NSFW AI roleplay platform". You chat with ready-made characters or build your own, and paid plans add images, video, voice messages and calls. The homepage also pushes live "Dream Cams", a roulette and "Undress" scenes.

There is no app; it runs in the browser. The entry screen asks you to certify "under penalty of perjury" that you are over 18, and the privacy policy says some users may be asked to verify their identity through Didit.

The subscription page shows prices per day, not per month. During a "70% OFF" sale, yearly Premium was $0.19 a day and yearly Ultimate $0.82 a day; monthly plans were $0.40 and $1.50 a day. The only billed figure published is in the page's own description: from $5.84 a month, billed $69.99 a year. We could not see what a monthly or Ultimate plan actually charges before sign-in.

Premium includes unlimited chat, 100 Dream Coins a month for media and voice, plus 100 bonus coins; Ultimate comes with 800 bonus coins. Free users get one character and "typically between 10 to 20" messages, with extra credits for completing tasks.

The refund policy is short: no refunds, except for errors or technical problems reviewed case by case, and stricter local law still applies. Cancelling in Settings stops the next charge only.

The terms require users to be 18, and the Blocked Content Policy says efforts to create AI representations resembling minors are forbidden. The same policy bans bloodline incest but adds: "Step-family relationships are permitted (e.g., stepmom, stepdad, stepsister)."

The catalog takes that permission and runs with it. "Step Relations" is the first tag after "All", the most popular card on our visit was a step-sister scenario with 1.2 million chats, and other top cards cast you as a stepson or as the father of the character's friend. Impersonating real people is banned only when done "with intent to deceive", and photos you upload need the consent of everyone shown.

Because the operator is in Germany, GDPR rights apply. The privacy policy, updated in October 2026, says conversations are stored with encryption, but it also lists a long set of ad and tracking tools, including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Reddit pixels and adult ad networks. You can delete your account under Settings, Account, Delete Account.

Dream Companion has an EU operator with a full legal notice, a clear 18+ rule and optional ID checks, which is more than many rivals offer.

We still leave it out of our recommendations, because its rules explicitly allow step-family roleplay and its catalog features it. If you want an explicit companion with images and voice, the services below draw that line differently.
