OurDream review: plans, Dreamcoins and a catalog flag

We opened the US site logged out, clicked "I'm over 18", and read the plans page, the character builder, the help center, the Trust and Safety pages and the legal documents. Two free email signups, on the same day, both stopped at a Cloudflare "Verify you are human" check. We did not solve it, so no account was created.

That leaves the signed-in chat, memory, the free coin allowance, settings and the deletion flow untested. Everything below comes from OurDream's own published pages.

On 23 October 2026 the public Explore page showed a "Teen" filter in its tag row, next to MILF, Asian and RPG (ourdream.ai/?tag=Teen). The same row had "Step-Fantasy" and "College Student" tags. OurDream's Prohibited Content Policy bans content resembling minors and incest, so the catalog and the rules point in different directions.

We have not judged individual characters behind the tag. Until that is resolved, we keep OurDream as a neutral reference: no recommendation and no picks placement.

OurDream is run by Dream Studio USA, Inc. in Delaware. You pick a companion from the catalog or build one, chat by text, and spend Dreamcoins on pictures, voice calls, narration and short videos. It runs in the browser and installs as a web app; there is no native iPhone or Android app.

After the one-click 18+ gate, the logged-out Explore grid already shows explicit images. The Acceptable Use Policy says adult experiences are for signed-in users who confirmed their age, which is not what a logged-out visitor sees.

Premium is $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month if you pay $119.88 for the year. Deluxe doubles down at $59.99 monthly or $359.88 a year, with 5,000 coins instead of 1,000, premium chat models and three times the memory.

The coin math is public, which helps you plan. The plans page puts 1,000 coins at roughly 200 images, 20 minutes of calls or 10 videos. Video is the expensive part: 100 coins per 5 seconds. One help article says plan coins do not refresh monthly, while the current plans page promises a top-up on every billing date; check your balance after the first renewal.

There is no free message allowance in the usual sense. Free users pay 1 Dreamcoin per message, and the signup dialog promises free coins without saying how many. Community answers say referrals are the only other source of free coins. In practice the free tier is a short preview.

Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the paid period. Refunds are case by case: you have 14 days to report a defect, unused time is generally not refunded, and crypto payments are final. The statement name is not published; the FAQ only calls billing discreet.

The homepage FAQ says chats use end-to-end encryption that nobody can read, "not even us". The privacy summary says third-party AI providers process your messages and staff can see chats with consent or a legal request. The Privacy Policy also lists training AI models among its purposes. Deletion is in Settings, Account management, or by email to [email protected]; popular public characters may stay after you delete the account.

It can fit you if you want images, calls and video in one browser app and like seeing a coin price for each action before you pay.

Skip it if the catalog tagging above is a dealbreaker, if you want a real free tier, or if you need an app-store app with Apple or Google billing.
