We can't recommend it.

We did not create an account: SoulFun's terms let people under the legal age use the service with a parent's supervision and contain no explicit ban on content involving minors, so under our review rules we stayed on public pages. Nothing was paid.

The Subscription Terms give one price, $19.99 a month, renewing automatically. On October 23, 2026 the homepage showed a "First subscription up to 75% off" countdown banner, but the plan list in the Pro Benefits window never loaded for a logged-out visitor, so we could not confirm the discounted prices. Coin packs are not priced on public pages.

What we checked on 23 October 2026
We read SoulFun's public pages from a US connection: the Discover catalog, the Pro Benefits window, Subscription Terms, Terms of Service, Content Policy and Privacy Policy. We did not sign up. SoulFun's terms let people under the legal age use the service under a parent's supervision and don't ban content involving minors outright, and our rules only allow test accounts on services that do both.
So there are no first-hand chat numbers here. Everything comes from SoulFun's own pages.
What SoulFun is
SoulFun is a web companion service with a catalog of realistic female characters, each with a job, a set of tags and a short premise. You chat by text and, on Premium, ask for photos, make voice and video calls, create characters and generate images and short videos. The terms are governed by Hong Kong law and the privacy policy says data is stored in Hong Kong; the only company contact listed is an email address.
What it costs
The Subscription Terms name one plan: SoulFun Premium at $19.99 a month with 1000 coins. A message costs 1 coin, a minute of voice call 10 coins and a minute of video call 20. The homepage was running a "first subscription up to 75% off" countdown and a 30-day free text chat event; the plan list itself didn't load for us without an account.
Cancelling means logging in and sending a request through a feedback form, and SoulFun says it may ask for more information to verify you. Cancelling doesn't refund anything already charged.
Why the rules fall short
Three problems. First, age: the Terms of Service say that if you are under the legal age you may use the service "under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian", and the privacy policy only excludes children under 13. There is no 18+ requirement, and we saw no age prompt.
Second, content: the Content Policy bans "pornographic or explicit sexual content", yet catalog characters are tagged "Horny" and "Seductive", and several are written as a stepmother or a friend's mother. Third, minors: neither document explicitly bans characters or content involving minors.
The privacy policy also describes uploads of photos with faces to generate videos, with no rule we could find against using other people's faces.
Privacy
Generated content is stored on servers in Hong Kong, and the policy warns that data there may be subject to requests from local courts or law enforcement. Uploaded photos with faces are deleted automatically once the video is generated, according to the policy. Third-party trackers run on the site.
Who should look elsewhere
If you want an adult companion service with clear 18+ rules, published plans and a ban on minors and real faces, the alternatives below fit better. SoulFun's own documents don't give those guarantees.
