Swipey AI review: prices, hearts, creator twins and the fine print

We opened Swipey AI from a US connection and clicked through the 18+ gate, then looked at the homepage, the pricing page, the Premium window, the character builder, the public catalog pages, the help center and the legal pages. We did not sign up, so nothing here comes from inside an account: we did not chat, generate media, buy hearts or go through the UK age check.

Swipey AI is run by INVAI LTD, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. It has four kinds of companions: characters made by Swipey, Verified Creator Models, Custom AI you design yourself, and Community characters other users publish. Around the chat sit a swipeable feed, live "Duels", quests, a prize wheel and Fan Clubs.

Verified Creator Models are AI versions of real, verified adult creators, made under a likeness agreement with their consent. The terms also say the service "does not depict, and is not intended to depict, any real, identifiable individual", and treat these AI Twins as fictional characters. Users cannot upload photos or media of their own.

The pricing page shows one figure: $7.99 a month. The "Start Premium" button then opens a window with 1-, 3- and 12-month plans priced only per day ($0.67, $0.53 and $0.27), and on the day we checked a Halloween pop-up offered 12 months for $71.99. The help center says the current price appears before you pay, so the checkout total is the one to trust.

Premium comes with bonus hearts: 200 with each 1- or 3-month payment, 300 with the first yearly payment. Hearts pay for calls by the minute, longer videos, creator media and tips, and they do not expire while the account exists. Fan Clubs are separate subscriptions in real money; Premium includes one.

Signing up is free and needs no card. After you confirm your email you get 20 hearts, and you can chat with Swipey's own characters and Verified Creators, watch a couple of Duels and do quests. Chatting with a character you build, voice, the relationship levels and Daily Rewards need Premium. The pages disagree on small points: the pricing page lists the explore feed as free, while the help center puts the Explorer feed under Premium.

The terms set an 18+ age limit, ban content with minors or "youth-themed content suggesting underage status", and ban incest. The public catalog does not match that wording. On October 23, 2026 its tag list included "Teen", "Stepsister" and "Step-mom", several public character cards listed as 18 to 20 years old carried the "Teen" tag, and others used classroom, "after class" or step-sister scenes. The character builder itself starts its age slider at 18.

Entry is a one-click 18+ confirmation, repeated at checkout. UK visitors must pass a selfie-based age estimate through Ondato, with an ID check if the estimate is unclear.

The help center says charges appear as SWIPEY.AI or INVAI LTD, sometimes with Nicosia or Cyprus. The pricing page says the statement shows "a neutral merchant name, not Swipey". Expect to see the company or site name. Cancel in Settings, then Subscription; Premium runs to the end of the paid period. The terms call all purchases final unless the law requires a refund, while the help center says support reviews requests case by case.

You can delete your profile under Settings, Profile tab, and the help article says your personal data is removed. The privacy policy says data is usually kept for 6 years after the account is closed. Ask support which rule applies before you rely on deletion.

Swipey AI is built for people who want gamified extras around the chat: Duels, quests, levels and AI versions of real creators. It is web-only and charges in several layers, so the monthly figure is rarely the whole bill.

Before paying, compare the checkout total with the pricing page, decide whether you are comfortable with AI versions of real people, and note the gap between the content rules and the public catalog.
