What Spicy AI is
Spicy AI lives at spicyai.app. One account covers Spicy Chat for character roleplay, AI image creation and editing, an AI head swap tool, image-to-video and talking avatars. The site is in English and nine other languages.
The name causes confusion. Its About page says it is not affiliated with SpicyChat.ai or spicyai.io, and on October 24, 2026 the spicy.ai domain itself redirected to spicychat.ai. If you were looking for SpicyChat, that is a separate service with its own review.
What it costs
There is no subscription. You buy credits once: $15 for 2,400, $50 for 8,000 or $100 for 16,000, with a slider from $50 to $200 on the top pack. Credits do not expire, and a failed chat, image or video generation gives its credits back automatically.
What the site does not show is the credit price of each action, so you cannot work out how many images or messages a pack buys before you try. Payment is by wallet, crypto or a regional method. If you want to pay by card, the site suggests buying an API key from a third-party provider and adding it in Settings, in which case that seller bills you.
Free plan
New users get trial credits without a card, and the refund policy also mentions daily login bonuses. Banners on every page advertise free images without sign-in and free videos without credits. The exact free allowance is not published, and we did not sign up to measure it.
Chat, images and video
Spicy Chat is a public catalog of companions made by users, with tags such as Realistic and Female, a search box and a Create Character button; thumbnails include explicit art, so browse it in private. The pitch is that you chat with a character, then turn the same character into stills, a short clip or a speaking avatar without changing apps. The sidebar also offers AI Head Swap, so the rules on real people below matter.
Rules, billing and privacy
You must be 18 or the age of majority where you live. The content policy has a zero-tolerance rule on sexual content involving minors and bans deepfake pornography of real people without consent and using someone's likeness, voice or identity without permission. It says images and text are scanned before and after generation.
The legal pages do not name a company or address; contact is by support email. Two statements differ: the content policy says server-side data is kept for no more than one day, while the privacy policy says data is kept while your account is active and deletion is by request. Prompts go to outside AI model providers, the site uses Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Plausible, and the terms allow using content to train and improve models. All credit purchases are final.
Who should pick it
Pick Spicy AI if you want chat, images and short video in one place, prefer paying once with crypto over a monthly plan, and like credits that never expire. Look elsewhere if you want to pay by card directly, need a native phone app, or want to see the cost of each image before you buy.
