SpicyChat: the catalogue review reported an “Age Play” tag. Recommendations and outbound links are paused pending review (October 23, 2026).
Editorial update, October 23, 2026. SpicyChat: the catalogue review reported an “Age Play” tag. These tags conflict with our selection criteria for adult fictional characters. Recommendations and outbound links are paused while this finding is reviewed. This page remains as a neutral product reference; a tag alone does not establish the age or identity of every character.
The official documentation describes custom characters, group chat, lorebooks and premium conversation features.
Audience: adults 18+. This is a non-explicit product review. The catalogue’s age label is an editorial classification; provider eligibility and content rules are described separately below. AI characters are generated software responses, not people or professional support.

The community guidelines require users and characters to be adults. Adult content has labeling requirements; minors, non-consensual content and unauthorized depictions of real people are prohibited. These are published rules, not an independent test of enforcement.
This is a hosted service: do not assume that private character visibility means local storage or no provider access. We did not independently establish a fixed retention period or a model-training opt-out from the pages reviewed. Check the current privacy terms before adding identifying information.
Before using a hosted companion, consider whether you would be comfortable with the operator processing the conversation. Avoid uploading identifying images, financial information or another person’s private details. A private character setting controls visibility; it does not by itself establish confidentiality from the service operator.
Detailed public documentation explains conversation settings and the September pricing change.
Legacy subscribers may pay different rates; changing plans can move them to current pricing. Privacy assurances need separate review.
Compare these workflows individually; prices, content rules and privacy protections differ.
