The word "game" gets stretched a lot in this niche, so we set a plain test. A service made the list only if its own help pages, docs or public site describe at least one of these:

• Meters or stats that track something during the chat (affection, trust, mood).
• Objectives or quests, meaning a stated goal or a task you complete.
• Playable scenarios, where the setup and your role are written before you start.
• Story modes: episodes, branching, or a way to rewind and take another path.

What we checked: official help centers and wikis (the Secrets wiki, Nectar docs, Chub docs), pricing pages and the public home pages, all through a US connection on October 23, 2026. No logins, no paid plans. Prices are what those pages showed that day; where a brand hides prices behind sign-in, we say "not published" instead of guessing.

What we did not count: a "Game" tag on a character with nothing behind it, or marketing lines like "she can play games with you". Plenty of good companion apps failed this test, and that is fine. A Nectar Fantasy is a scenario written before you begin: a premise, a setting, and often your role in it (the docs mention a professor or a stranger at a bar). You find them on Discover, read the description and press Start Chat. A Fantasy can have one companion or a cast of up to 10, and a "Groups Only" filter shows the multi-character ones.

In a group, companions talk to each other and can "argue, flirt, form alliances", and an experimental Choose speaker menu lets you decide who replies next. The site also runs a Nectar Rewards points program.

• Price: free plan; Premium $9.99/mo discounted, $19.99 list; Pro $19.99 discounted; Ultimate $34.99 discounted. We could not verify which of the two prices a given buyer sees at checkout.
• Minus: no meters or goals in the docs, so the "game" is the scenario setup, and the rest is up to the chat. The site also has a crypto token game tied to credits that we did not assess.

Chub AI: add a mini-game to any chat

Chub's documentation describes Stages: add-ons written by other people that run inside a chat. Their stated purpose includes "expression packs (showing a character's emotional state with a set of images), UIs for mini-games", and the docs show a maze game as the example. You attach a Stage to a chat or to a character and switch it on in Chat Settings.

Stages run in a sandboxed frame on a separate domain, and ones checked by the developers get a Verified mark. The same Chat Settings menu lets you add more characters to a chat and attach lorebooks.

• Price: free browsing and chatting with a connected model; Mars is $20/mo with unlimited messages, according to the docs. Other tier prices load after sign-in.
• Minus: the most hands-on setup here. You pick models, Stages and settings yourself, and the docs warn never to give a Stage your API keys or passwords.

GoLove: episodes and shared scenarios

GoLove's site advertises "Series", described as original stories with episodes ("100+ episodes" in its banner), and Scenarios where several characters share one plot. You can also start a group chat by picking 2 or more characters. It runs in the browser.

We list GoLove for chat only. Its video tool is not part of this recommendation.

• Price: PRO and ULTRA plans plus credit packs; the pricing page needs sign-in and showed euro amounts to our server, so no USD figure.
• Minus: the terms allow a full refund only within 24 hours of payment and refuse it if more than 20 credits were used.

GirlfriendGPT: game-tagged cards and reward quests

GirlfriendGPT tags community characters with Game, RPG and Scenario, and its catalog includes open-world roleplay cards.
