Venice AI alternative for adults: 18+ services with stricter upload rules

Venice AI has real strengths: published USD prices, chat history stored in your browser, and terms that rule out training on user content. Two points in its own documents are why we do not recommend it for adult use. The Terms of Service say: "You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, then you must have a parent or guardian’s consent to use the Service." And the Privacy Policy allows uploading photos of real people for image and video generation after a consent prompt.

The four services below are built for adults only, and none of them lets you turn someone else's photo into generated media. Our full Venice AI review covers the service itself.

• Nastia AI. Images and short videos from a standalone generator that does not take uploads: the compliance page says "Image and video uploads are disabled, and prompts naming public figures are refused." The terms limit the service to adults 18+, and nothing you create is shown to other users. Plan prices appear only after sign-in, and purchases are non-refundable except where law requires or a technical error prevented delivery.
• Secrets AI. Images and video generated only by the platform: the Privacy Policy states "You cannot upload files or images to the Service". Chat history is deleted immediately when you delete the account, according to the same policy. Premium costs $19.99 a month; the free tier allows 20 messages a day without media.
• Janitor AI. If you mostly used Venice for uncensored text: Janitor's free tier includes unlimited chats with community characters on its own model, and you can connect an outside model with your own key. The terms limit the platform to adults 18+ and ban any depiction of individuals under 18. janitor+ costs $12.99 a month or $99 a year (checked October 24, 2026).
• Candy AI. Companion chat with generated images, video and voice. The Blocked Content Policy states that users cannot upload content and sets a zero-tolerance policy for images intended to resemble actual persons. Plans start at $3.99 a month on the yearly plan ($47.88 billed once), or $13.99 a month after a $9.99 first month (US prices, October 23, 2026); refunds only within 24 hours and 20 tokens.

Venice markets itself as a private, uncensored AI workspace for text, images, video and code. For adult use, three facts from its own pages matter more than the marketing:

• Age. The terms accept users from 13 with a parent or guardian's consent. Users under 18 promise not to switch off the mature content filter, but the FAQ says the Mature Filter can be turned off on Pro or higher, and no separate age verification step is described on public pages. A filter toggle is not an age check.
• Real people's photos. The Privacy Policy says: "The Service enables you to use likeness content for image and video generation with your explicit consent." Consent is a prompt you confirm at each upload. Nobody can verify that a person in an uploaded photo actually agreed.
• It is a workspace, not a companion app. Custom characters exist, but Venice is built for general AI work first.

Venice does ban child sexual abuse material, "including AI-generated material", and the use of a third party's likeness without consent. The problem is that its design relies on users being honest about age and consent. The services below do not.

Venice stores conversation history in your browser, and its terms say it will not use user content to train models. None of the picks matches that fully. Nastia AI comes closest on visibility: there is no public feed, you can delete chats, images and videos at any time, and account deletion takes effect immediately, but its Privacy Policy says data is used to improve the service, including the quality of companion replies. Secrets AI deletes chat history immediately when you delete the account.

Venice AI's Pro plan costs $18 a month, and its free tier allows 10 text and 15 image prompts a day on base models (checked Oct 24, 2026). Nastia AI uses a third-party age check where law requires. Secrets AI verifies age on request. Janitor AI runs k-ID checks in Australia, Brazil and the UK, has no image generator, bans depictions of real private individuals and sets no fixed retention period. Candy AI uses a self-declared gate with more checks where law requires, and may train models on de-identified chats.

• Privacy first: Nastia AI, with no public feed and immediate account deletion, or Secrets AI, which deletes chat history on account deletion.
• Images and video: Nastia AI, Secrets AI or Candy AI. None accepts photo uploads; see all image generators that pass our upload rules.
• Free uncensored text: Janitor AI, or compare the uncensored AI chat picks.

Two checks apply everywhere. Read the refund rules before paying, because several of these services treat purchases as final (see the billing guide). And never upload or describe a real person, on any service, even if a checkbox lets you.
