Secrets AI: memory is the product
Secrets AI's wiki has a full Memory System page. Your companion saves facts you share in chat (job, food likes, plans, boundaries) and ranks them HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW. A newer "Smart Mode" searches memories and past conversations. The tier table is unusually specific: compared with Free, Premium gets 4x the memories accessed, +60% short-term context and ~67% more previous conversations recalled; Ultimate gets 6x, +100% and +100%. Lorebooks, where you edit what a companion remembers, are on Premium and Ultimate.
Price: Free (20 messages a day); Premium $19.99 a month or $109.99 a year; Ultimate $39.99 a month or $319.99 a year.
Minus: lorebooks and the stronger memory sit behind a paid plan, and the free limit is tied to your device.
CrushOn: pinned memories even on Free
CrushOn's pricing page lists a "Chat Memory Privilege" for every plan. Free: 8K memory, 200 historical chat messages per character, 4,000 characters pinned per chat and low-frequency auto summary with a Resummarize option. Standard and Premium unlock 16K memory models; Premium raises pinned text to 5,000 characters and summary to medium frequency. The chat panel shows "Save Memory," "View Memories" and "Summarized long-term memory."
Price: Standard $5.99 a month; Premium $14.99 a month (shown as 25% off $19.99); higher tiers up to $199.99.
Minus: free use runs on 100 message credits a month, so you will not get far enough to test long-term memory for free.

Nectar AI: memory spelled out per plan
Nectar's official plan data lists memory per tier: Free gets 15 messages of memory, Pro "a larger 16K memory," Ultimate "long-term memory." The terms describe companions with persistent memory.
Price: Premium $9.99 a month discounted ($19.99 list); Pro $19.99 discounted; Ultimate $34.99 discounted. Which price a buyer sees at checkout was not verified.
Minus: 15 messages of memory on Free is very short.
Janitor AI: free, but you manage memory
Janitor's own model (JLLM) is free, and the help center is honest about its limit: "roughly 8,000 to 9,000 tokens," after which the bot "starts forgetting." Its Chat Memory guide recommends writing summaries as you go and using them as the new memory; creators can also attach lorebooks. janitor+ promises 5x context.
Minus: memory is manual work. janitor+ costs $12.99/month or $99/year, checked October 24, 2026.
Nomi: relationship memory, official link only
Nomi's home page leads with "short, medium, and long term memory." No public pricing page; an official blog post from March 2026 lists $15.99 a month, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year. Visit the official site; we have no partner link.
Minus: memory limits per plan are not published.
Kindroid: Cascaded Memory, official link only
Kindroid's subscriptions page lists "Cascaded Memory for human-like, medium-term memory," "Enhanced long-term memory and journal recall" and longer short-term context, with more on the Ultra and MAX add-ons. Prices appear only at checkout. Official site only.
Minus: you cannot compare its cost before you sign up.
