A service made this list only if all three were true:

1. Anime style is confirmed on its own pages. An anime category or tab in the catalog, an anime option in the character builder, or anime character pages we could open. An "anime" keyword in a page title was not enough.
2. Characters are adults, and the policy says so. We read each brand's underage or prohibited content policy and kept only services that ban minors in fictional and AI-generated form. The best ones also ban "aged-up" or "age-down" tricks, which matter a lot in anime, where the art style alone does not show a character's age.
3. Price and free limit are public, or we say plainly that they are not.

What we checked: public catalog pages, public builder steps, pricing pages and policy pages, logged out, through a US connection, on October 23 and 24, 2026. Infatuated AI: an anime shelf with fantasy archetypes

Infatuated's catalog has four tabs: Girls, Guys, Anime and Trans. We counted 285 cards on October 23, 2026, and 49 of them sat under Anime. The site describes a "Realistic Anime aesthetic" and lists archetypes such as Yandere, Catgirl, Elf, Witch, Succubus and Vampire, and says the look stays consistent across photos, voice and video. The builder offers Anime as a style option next to Suggestive and Explicit.

Its Underage Policy is the strictest we read: it prohibits "real minors, fictional minors, AI-generated minors, or any depiction that could reasonably be interpreted as a minor," and the content rules name youthful tags, childlike traits and age-shifting specifically.

Price: $9.99 a month, or $6.99 a month for 12 months ($83.88). Custom characters cost 25 tokens.

Minus: the home page has no 18+ gate, and the free version stops at about ten messages per chat. No refunds, per its terms.

Secrets AI: build your own anime companion

The Secrets AI builder runs six public steps: gender and style, then looks, hair, body, name and age, voice. Style options in the builder include Anime Female, Anime Male and Anime Trans, and the voice picker has an Anime filter among its 148 voices. Age starts at 18. The builder code also blocks descriptions that point to underage settings, so the safeguard sits in the tool, not only in the terms.

The Prohibited Content Policy (updated April 10, 2026) bans "suggestive or sexualized depictions of characters described as or appearing to be under 18" and "attempts to age-down characters to circumvent restrictions."

Price: Free with 20 messages a day; Premium $19.99 a month or $109.99 a year; Ultimate $39.99 a month. Sale prices apply to the first billing period only.

Minus: the ready-made catalog is uneven, so building your own character gives you more control than browsing. Free plans also get no images or video.

OurDream: an anime builder with media in the plan

OurDream's public builder starts with Female, Male or Trans, then a Realistic or Anime style, then appearance and personality. Creating a chatbot costs 10 Dreamcoins, and publishing public bots is a Premium feature with a manual review of 3 to 5 days. Premium includes unlimited messages and audio messages, image and video generation, voice calls and 1,000 Dreamcoins every month, which the plans page says covers roughly 200 images, 20 minutes of voice calls or 10 videos.

Its Prohibited Content Policy (June 9, 2026) says "It is strictly prohibited to generate AI content resembling minors," and reference photo uploads are not allowed. Every account confirms age at sign-up, with an ID check through Go.cam or AgeVerif where local law requires it.

Price: Premium $9.99 a month billed $119.88 a year, or $19.99 month to month (checked October 23, 2026). Extra Dreamcoin packs are $11.99, $49.99 and $159.99.

Minus: free chat costs 1 Dreamcoin per message and the free coin amount is not published, so the free tier is hard to size before you sign up.

Candy AI: anime tabs for both waifus and husbandos

Candy's catalog switches between Girls, Anime and Guys, and its anime section splits into Anime Girls and Anime Guys, which makes it one of the few places where an AI anime boyfriend is a first-class option. The public builder asks for Realistic or Anime right after gender. Premium adds image and video generation inside the chat.

Candy's Blocked Content Policy (July 30, 2026) says attempts to generate content "resembling minors will be flagged, reviewed, and removed."

Price: $3.99 a month billed $47.88 a year; or $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 a month. Free: 5 messages total, 1 custom character, 1 image.

Minus: five free messages in total is barely a test, and images, video and voice are paid in tokens on top of the plan.

DarLink AI: an anime style for your chat companion

DarLink's builder asks for Female, Male or Futa, then a style: Realistic V2, Realistic, Anime, Furry, Fantasy or Cartoon. The community feed has gender, style and age filters, and NSFW-rated cards sit behind a "Show" overlay. On this page we cover DarLink for chat with a character you build.

Its terms (section 2.1) say "You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service," and section 5.1 says content involving the sexual depiction of minors "is strictly forbidden."

Price: Essential $12.99 a month, $10.99 a month billed quarterly or $9.99 a month billed yearly; it includes 6,000 messages a month and basic memory (checked October 23, 2026). Crypto works only for annual plans, without auto-renewal.

Minus: free limits are not published, and the quarterly and yearly totals are not shown on the plan page.

Nastia AI: adult characters from known anime

Nastia has a "Chat with Anime Characters" section with pages for established adult characters, such as Yor Forger (her backstory gives her age as 27), Nico Robin, Yoruichi Shihouin, Esdeath and Misato Katsuragi. The builder has 5 steps without an account, and it supports group chats and voice messages.

Its Content Rules are clear about the anime problem: you must not request content that "depicts or suggests a person under 18, including childlike or 'aged-up' characters." It also bans real, identifiable people and incest themes.

Price: not published; plans appear after sign-up and renew monthly or yearly. The free tier includes "daily messages and basic features" with no card, number not stated.

Minus: you cannot compare its cost before you register, and registration had a CAPTCHA.

Janitor AI: free, community-made anime bots

Janitor's catalog has an Anime tag among dozens of others (Fictional, OC, Game, Magical, Villain and more). Chat on its own model is free with no message cap, and context is about 9,000 tokens. Bots with sexual themes must be tagged "Limitless," and the mobile app keeps NSFW off by default.

Terms section 6 prohibits anything that "depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexualization of minors in any form, including fictional depictions."

Price: free; janitor+ is $12.99 a month or $99 a year (checked October 24, 2026).

Janitor AI and DarLink AI both have community feeds. Janitor requires sexual bots to carry the Limitless tag and keeps NSFW off by default in its mobile app; DarLink hides NSFW-rated cards behind a "Show" overlay. On any open catalog, read the card's stated age and description first, use the NSFW switch to match what you want to see, and report cards that break the rules.

• No written ban on minors, or a ban that covers only "real" people.
• No mention of aged-up or age-down characters. In anime, that gap is where most bad cards slip through.
